These unique monoprints are from Ford's exhibition Full Bloom at the University of Texas:
Loosely based on the Spanish barajas playing card deck, the works in Full Bloom are rooted in experiences at Madrid’s Royal Botanical Garden, the oldest of its kind in the country. The exhibition featured a new series of 40 risograph prints and 18 trace monotypes that I created as a Guest Artist in Print at the University of Texas at Austin, along with a limited edition risograph-printed artist book also called Full Bloom featuring drawings and texts related to the project. This exhibition was organized by Annie May Johnston, Studio Art Faculty at The University of Texas at Austin, and was displayed at the UT Visual Arts Center in January and Feburary 2020.
